Hi, I’m Kassandra, the owner and lead artist at The Scar Lab YEG. I specialize in paramedical tattooing for scars and stretch marks, with a focus on natural results, and creating a space where clients feel safe and supported.

My goal is simple: to challenge the stigma surrounding scars and stretch marks and change the way we talk about our skin.

My Why

When I was around ten, a family member warned me not to gain or lose too much weight or I’d “get stretch marks like their friend.” That comment stayed with me.

When I developed stretch marks during puberty, I felt immediate shame. I had never seen anyone else with them, and I believed there was something wrong with my body. That experience is a huge part of why this work means so much to me. I understand the grief, embarrassment, and silence that can come with scars and stretch marks because I’ve lived it too.

Every client I support is, in a way, part of healing the younger version of me who believed she wasn’t beautiful.

The Scar Lab YEG is more than a business to me. It’s a space to release old beliefs, reconnect with your body, and feel empowered in your skin again.
